Ventilation Equipment
Three integrated product lines that work together for a complete kitchen ventilation solution

Hood Configurations
Every hood is custom fabricated to your kitchen layout, available in four primary configurations

Wall Canopy
Mounted against a wall, ideal for cooking lines along perimeter walls. Most common configuration.

Island Canopy
Suspended from ceiling for freestanding cooking islands. Captures from all four sides.

Proximity (Backshelf)
Low-profile hoods mounted close to the cooking surface for countertop equipment.

Custom Architectural
Decorative hoods with custom shapes, finishes, and materials for front-of-house display cooking.
Engineered for Safety and Performance
Every Caddy ventilation system is designed by our in-house engineering team and custom fabricated in our Indiana manufacturing facility. We handle everything from initial kitchen layout review through shop drawings, fabrication, and delivery.
UL 710 Listed
All exhaust hoods are ETL Listed to meet UL 710 safety standards
NFPA 96 Compliant
Meets National Fire Protection Association requirements for ventilation control and fire protection
IMC Code Compliant
Designed to meet International Mechanical Code for commercial kitchen ventilation
Energy Star Qualified (DCV)
Smart Hood DCV systems reduce energy consumption by up to 50% during idle cooking periods

How Demand Control Ventilation Works
Intelligent sensors reduce fan speeds when cooking activity is low, saving energy and lowering HVAC costs
Sensors Detect
Temperature and optic sensors continuously monitor cooking activity under each hood section.
System Adjusts
Variable frequency drives modulate exhaust and makeup air fan speeds in real time based on sensor data.
Energy Saved
During idle or low-demand periods, fan speeds reduce by up to 50%, dramatically cutting energy and HVAC costs.
